Dysart, Ontario

For me one of the most magical experiences in Canada is the chance to go to a lake house (in just about any season) and get away from the city,revel in the beauty of nature, go for a paddle, sit by a fire in the evening and hang out with friends.

Paul and Mel were gracious enough to invite me up to their summer cottage a number of times, in summer and autumn (one of the most magical times of the year to experience it with the changing autumn foliage).

This gallery is partly in memory of that experience and partly dedicated to Tom. Their rescue cat who is no longer around.
