Hello, I'm Mike.

I'm Michael McMahon — a digital native, an Australian web developer and digital marketer. I'm also a husband, a father, a son, a step-father and more. This is my personal blog and space for storing my creative content online.

By day I run BrightSite, a solo web and digital studio. minimal mike is the opposite of client work — no brief, no deadline, just whatever I happen to be thinking about.

Many of these pics were taken during a period when I was a digital nomad traveling around the world and then based in North America. The more recent ones are from a more recent iteration of my life.

Writing

I've put up a bunch of my writing here, from travel writing I did several years back, to personal stuff I've never showed anyone. Some of it is probably too presonal and there will be those who read it and think I'm crazy for sharing it. But you know what, I'm past the age where I care too much about what other people think. I'm thinking about Mark Mason and I've run out of fucks. What else can I say. But I'm not sharing it because IDGAF, I'm sharing it because I think it could be useful or interesting to someone else and maybe that'll be you.
