A postcard to Mom

A handwritten postcard to my mother, dated 7 December 2020, sent from Georgia

As it happened I landed in Georgia and got out of quarantine at the start of December, and when I went to the post office to send a postcard to my mom as I did every year. I was a bit flabbergasted when they told me that they didn’t send any mail to Australia because of COVID. I left scratching my head and wondering what the heck kind of country I found myself in. But I sent her this picture of the postcard, which seemed to make her happy.
